Future Plans
- Strengthen capacity for research and policy advice on children’s rights by mobilizing a policy dialogue forum on children’s rights.
- To promote research on child rights issues. CCO is outsourcing two studies ‘international best practices of child rights monitoring’ and ‘baseline study on the status of compliance of federal agencies responsible for child protection with the UNCRC’.
- Steer Public Policy through research (baseline study on the status of compliance with the UN CRC; framework for building capacity in federal agencies for addressing child rights issues.
- Interative trainings for staff of Federal and Provincial CCOs.
- Conduct cross country study of best practices.
- Establish think tank with federal agencies for review / monitor progress.
- Identify and work with partners for awareness and social mobilization through civil society advisory committee of SPGRM Project.
